I will be demonstrating watercolor landscape painting at the Adirondack Lake Center for the Arts at Blue Mountain Lake on Saturday Aug. 8th from 3-7. This is part of their Great Camp fund raiser for the Art Center. Boat trips of the Lake are available, art demonstrations, and delicious food. Cost for this event is $40.00 per person.

Great trip to Alex Bay on Wednesday. Debe Abbott and I joined several other artists at a Plein Air paint out on Boldt Castle for the day. We parked at the Boldt Castle Yacht House on Welsley and shuttled over by boat.

Great time, Good food and great company.

The Hedges in Blue Mountain Lake has invited me as an artist in residence from June 17th thru the 19th. This is a great way to meet people and do some demonstrating and possibly a little teaching. This session will probably be indoors working from sketches and photos due to the very plentiful black flies at this time of year. I am really looking forward staying at and painting this beautiful place.
I have been busy getting ready for the Adirondack Living Show in Queensbury April 24th thru the 26th. This is a great show filled with everything you need for your Adirondack home .

Durant Bridge at Blue Mountain Lake March 1st

Happy March, almost spring! It still is winter in the Adirondacks. I just pent 2 days at Minnowbrook in Blue Mountain Lake. We spent Saturday night at a fund raiser for the Adirondack Lake Center for the Arts. It was held at Minnow brook a beautiful lodge on Blue Mountain lake. Sunday was spent photographing in sub zero weather. I am looking forward to the next trip already.
I will be an artist in residence at The Hedges (a beautiful old resort on Blue Mountain Lake) this summer. Keep posted for specific dates.
